Milestones achieved in Lord's test
- The Lord's Test was the 2000th test in the history of Test Cricket.It was India's 100th test against England.
- For the first time, India had played 100 Tests against one nation.India won 19 tests out of 100 tests played between them.
- Sachin Tendulkar has never scored a fifty in four tests at Lord's Cricket Ground.
- Kevin Pietersen became the 12th batsman for England to reach the milestone of 6000 runs in test cricket.
- Harbhajan Singh took more than 42 wickets against England in tests,most by any off-break Indian bowler.
- Dhoni establishes a record for most catches by an Indian wicket-keeper in tests.
